A major development from Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj has sent shockwaves across religious and political circles.
A Special POCSO Court has ordered police to register an FIR against Jyotish Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and his disciple over allegations of sexual exploitation involving minors. The court directed Jhunsi police station to initiate an investigation after examining evidence and statements presented before it.
Complainant Ashutosh Brahmachari welcomed the decision, calling it justice delivered, while the seer has denied the allegations and termed the case false.
