LIVE: Congress Abuses PM Narendra Modi during Rahul Gandhi & Tejashwi Yadav’s Rally in Bihar
A political controversy has erupted in Bihar after Congress leader Naushad was booked for allegedly using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother. The incident occurred at an India bloc rally in Darbhanga. An FIR was filed by the Darbhanga BJP district chief who stated, "This is an insult to the country… an insult to our matri shakti (mother power) and sanatan (dharma)." Senior leaders of the India bloc, including Rahul Gandhi, were not on the dais when the alleged abuses were hurled. Police have assured that legal action will be taken against Naushad. The National Commission for Women has also taken suo moto cognizance of the matter, given the abuses directed at the Prime Minister’s late mother
