DEFENCE MINISTER Rajnath Singh will on Sunday inaugurate virtually a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile production unit that is part of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor. Singh was earlier scheduled to visit Lucknow in this regard but this was cancelled in the wake of Operation Sindoor, officials said on Saturday.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be present at the unit on the occasion.The facility underscores India’s push for self-reliance in defence and is set to give a major boost to UP’s industrial growth.
