The highlight of the evening was a 7v7 exhibition match where Messi played alongside Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, exchanging passes and scoring a goal. Addressing the cheering crowd, Messi said, ‘I want to thank you for your love today and always. It is an honor for us to be able to share these days here in India with you.’ CM Reddy welcomed the star, stating, ‘Messi, welcome to Telangana. Now Telangana is rising.’ The event, attended by Rahul Gandhi, stood in stark contrast to the earlier scenes in Kolkata, where Messi was escorted out within 10 minutes due to security concerns.
