A special Indian Air Force plane, carrying the mortal remains of the 45 Indians killed in the Kuwait building fire tragedy, took off for Kerala in the wee hours of Friday.
The development was confirmed by Union Minister Kirti Vardhan Singh on X.
The minister was also onboard the aircraft.
The special plane would land in Kochi in the state.
Meanwhile, teams of police and ambulances were deployed at the Cochin International Airport where the aircraft will land.
