Kunal Kamra Refuses To Apologise For Political Joke As Venue Faces Vandalism | India Today

Comedian Kunal Kamra has refused to apologise for his joke on Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, which led to the vandalism of a comedy club. Maharashtra government plans to take strict action against stand-up comedians for such content. Kamra stated, ‘making a joke on the leader is not illegal’ and defended the venue, saying it’s not responsible for his comedy. CM Devendra Fadnavis said humor infringing on others’ freedom will not be accepted.
