Kunal Kamra Controversy LIVE: Comedian Kunal Kamra was summoned by Khar police on Tuesday over his controversial comments about Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Kamra, who referred to Shinde as a "traitor" in a Bollywood parody song at an event, has been asked to appear before the investigating officer at 11 am.
The notice was sent to the comedian’s residence in Mumbai even though Kamra is believed to not be in the city. Recently, in a viral audio clip that emerged on social media, Kamra could be heard telling a supporter of Shinde that he was in Tamil Nadu.
