A fierce encounter has taken place between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the killing of two terrorists. A search operation is currently underway for a third suspected terrorist. The forces have recovered arms and ammunitions, including AK-47s and grenades, from the location. This operation is part of an increase in encounters following a terror attack in Fahergaon on April 22nd. According to reports from the ground, the operation was launched based on specific intelligence. One of the slain men has been identified as a "local Lashkar commander…another one is also believed his associate, a local TRF terrorist." The operation is proceeding cautiously in the orchard area to prevent any collateral damage.
