Kolkata Doctors’ Stir: FAIMA Calls for Nationwide Shutdown of Elective Services at Hospitals

The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), representing Resident Doctors’ Associations (RDAs) across India, has announced a nationwide shutdown of elective services in hospitals from Monday. The decision was made following a FAIMA meeting held on Saturday. However, the association requested all RDAs to ensure that emergency services continue to function 24/7.
