The doctors’ protest in Kolkata continues for the 33rd day following the rape and murder of a trainee doctor. A crucial meeting between the doctors and the Mamata Banerjee government has begun. The doctors have demanded the Chief Minister’s presence at the meeting and a live broadcast, which the Trinamool government has refused. The doctors insist on a 13-member delegation being represented by the government. The meeting is taking place at the West Bengal State Secretariat, Nabanna Sabhagarh.
