North Korean leader Kim Jong Un spent the weekend touring weapons production facilities. State-run news agency said Kim fired a sniper rifle & drove a multiple rocket launcher vehicle. One pic shows a firing range target with holes in the bullseye, unclear if Kim fired the shots. The North Korean leader also looked at ‘a complex producing ultramodern precision munitions’. Many images showing Kim in a factory are extensively blurred at source, obscuring equipment. Korean Central News Agency stated the defence industry has ‘world-level high technical capabilities’. U.S. and South Korea have accused the North of providing artillery shells & missiles to Russia. Reports have quoted Ukrainian authorities questioning the accuracy of ‘North Korean missiles’. North Korea in recent months has maintained an accelerated pace of weapons testing. Diplomacy with U.S. & South Korea remains stalled, Pyongyang expanding military capabilities.
