A fatal accident occurred near Mumbai when passengers fell off an overcrowded local train between Mumbra and Diwa stations. Five people died and eight fell from the footboard of the train during peak hours. The Central Railway PRO clarified that the incident happened on a local train, not the Pushpak Express as initially reported. Railway authorities are now considering operating only closed-door trains on suburban lines to prevent such incidents.
