The Kerala State Election Commission (SEC) will on Friday, December 13, announce the results of the high-stakes local body elections, which were held in two phases across 11 districts on December 9 and 11. The local bodies in Kerala comprise gram panchayats, municipalities, and municipal corporations across these 14 districts. Polling in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Idukki, and Ernakulam districts was held on December 9, while Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts went to polls on December 11.
