A major political controversy has erupted in Kerala following the suicide of IT professional Anandu Aji, who left behind a note alleging repeated sexual abuse by members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The note stated, ‘I’m not angry with anyone, except one person and an organisation. The organisation is RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), which my father (a very good person) made me join.’ The incident has drawn sharp reactions, with the Congress demanding a thorough investigation into the claims. In response to the growing outcry, the Kerala BJP, now led by state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, has assured that a thorough probe will be conducted into the serious allegations. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and have begun an investigation based on the contents of the suicide note.
