Torrential rain on Saturday (February 15) triggered flash floods across parts of the southern U.S. states of Kentucky and Tennessee. Drone video showed flood waters rising along the north fork of the Kentucky River in Hazard, Kentucky early Sunday morning (February 16), partially submerging houses in the vicinity. Local news reported flood warnings will remain in place on Sunday morning. The region is expected to see strong wind gusts as well as snowy conditions towards the afternoon.
