Senior AIADMK leader Rajendra Balaji stated that Vijay cannot achieve success in the upcoming polls independently. Balaji was quoted saying, "unless Vijay forms alliance with the AIADMK, he can’t even get passing marks in the election." The statement underscores the AIADMK’s position that an alliance is necessary to challenge and uproot the ruling DMK, which Vijay has identified as his political enemy.
