The preliminary investigation, which began on October 18, follows the original FIR filed by the Karoor District Police. TVK leaders named in the case include Karoor District West Secretary Madigan, TVK General Secretary Anand, and functionary CTR Nirmal Kumar. Authorities continue to probe the incident, with CBI inspecting the stampede site and questioning relevant officials.
