Speaking to India Today, Tamaraga Vetri Kargam (TVK) General Secretary Arun Raj alleged a conspiracy behind the incident at the party’s Karur rally and demanded a court-monitored CBI probe. The party expressed a lack of trust in the current one-man commission, stating a previous report by its chairperson was not acted upon by the government. While the TVK claims to have evidence from eyewitnesses, it will not be made public yet. Responding to the DMK’s allegations that a delay by party leader Mr. Vijay caused the incident, Arun Raj stated the delay was unintended and due to massive crowds in Namakal. He said, "We will certainly put all these facts before this agency which is probing it."
