A battle for industrial investment is unfolding between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Following Karnataka’s U-turn on a land acquisition notification, Andhra Pradesh has extended an open invitation to industries. Responding to the move, Priyank Kharge stated that Karnataka’s strong ecosystem, built over decades, and its vast talent pool are its key strengths. He said, "While we love competition, these kind of headline-hitting narratives might garner attention for a couple of days, but ultimately, it is the policy, it is the people, the talent pool that is available that counts." The Chief Minister of Karnataka also clarified that the land acquisition notification is dropped and the government will only take lands for industrial development with consent from the landowners.
