Karnataka to clear lake encroachments, install green fencing within two months

Karnataka government plans to remove all lake encroachments. Green fencing will be installed around the lakes in the next two months. Chief Secretary Shalini Rajaneesh directed officials to coordinate efforts. She also urged them to find innovative solutions. Government wants to desilt rivers before the monsoon.
