Police have warned against circulating the videos on social media or via mobile applications. Pro-Hindu groups have called for a Channagiri Bandh in protest. The accused, Amjad, allegedly lured vulnerable women under the pretext of financial help, sexually assaulted them, and recorded the acts to blackmail them. Police have confiscated his mobile phone and are investigating further, urging victims to come forward.
