The 4th Mini Karnataka Games 2025, a week-long event for under-14 athletes, has concluded in Bengaluru. Organized by the Karnataka Olympic Association, the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, and the Sports Authority of Karnataka, the games featured over 5,000 participants competing in 27 sports. An official stated, ‘Future of our country will be relying on our young children. At this age, if we groom and then if we make them to participate in state level and national level, then they will be our products for next Olympics and Asian Games and Commonwealth Games and international championships.’ The state government has also announced cash prizes for national-level medalists and job reservations for sports achievers.
