Fresh CVoter tracking data reveals why the Congress high command faces a tough challenge in replacing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He continues to enjoy overwhelming support across key social groups in Karnataka. Among Dalits, 41.7% back him compared to just 7.4% for DK Shivakumar and 3.4% for Mallikarjun Kharge. Siddaramaiah leads similarly among Scheduled Tribes (35.4%), OBCs (33.3%), and commands a massive 74% support among Muslims – while other Congress leaders remain in single digits. The numbers underline Siddaramaiah’s deep social backing and show why removing him could trigger major political fallout.
