The Enforcement Directorate has conducted raids on a medical college chaired by Karnataka’s Home Minister G Parameshwara. The probe is linked to allegations that an educational trust associated with the college paid off a ₹40 lakh credit card bill of Ramya Rao, who is in custody on gold smuggling charges. Parameshwara has stated he will cooperate with investigators but refused to comment further on the ongoing investigation.
