The Karnataka high court granted relief to former chief minister BS Yediyurappa by accepting his petition against a Pocso Act case. The case followed allegations made by the mother of a 17-year-old girl, who claimed that Yediyurappa sexually assaulted her daughter during a meeting at his residence in February last year.
