Karnataka health officials, in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh counterparts, successfully dismantled an interstate racket involved in illegal prenatal sex determination and female foeticide. The operation was initiated after a health check-up revealed a pregnant woman’s distress upon learning her foetus was female.
