Noting that 13 districts have already experienced above-normal rainfall, he emphasized cleaning storm water drains in Bengaluru to prevent flooding. Coordination among city agencies, such as BDA, BWSSB, and BMRCL, was stressed for emergency response. District deputy commissioners were advised to monitor reservoir levels and manage water releases timely. The Public Works Department was directed to assess bridge integrity and ensure safe vehicular movement. Safety measures were advised for submerged bridges.
