Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to destabilise his government through ‘Operation Kamal’, alleging that BJP is offering 50 crore rupees to each of his MLAs. The BJP has denied these allegations, suggesting that Iyer is attempting to divert attention from scam charges against him. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar has also added to these allegations. The BJP has countered by highlighting the numerous scams that have emerged from the Congress party.
