Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been booked by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case linked to the MUDA. This is the second FIR filed against the Chief Minister, with the federal agency also booking his wife Parvati and brother-in-law. Siddaramaiah’s wife has offered to return the 14 sites allotted in upscale areas, stating that no plot is more important than her husband’s honour. The Chief Minister has alleged a political conspiracy against his family and accused the opposition of psychological torture. The Congress has backed the Chief Minister, accusing the centre of using central agencies.
