In a significant political development, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar presented a united front following a ‘breakfast meeting’ at the CM’s residence in Bengaluru today. Addressing the media, the leaders dismissed rumours of a rift and the speculated ‘2.5 years’ power-sharing agreement. Siddaramaiah asserted, ‘We are united. And there is no differences between DK Sivakumar and myself.’ Echoing this sentiment, Shivakumar stated, ‘Whatever the chief minister has said, I will also follow exactly that.’ The leaders confirmed that the upcoming assembly session will begin on December 8 and emphasized their commitment to the party High Command’s decisions.
