A five-year-old girl was strangled to death after an attempted rape in an under-construction building in Hoparli, Karnataka. CCTV footage shows the accused luring and abducting the child while she was playing near her house. The police have formed a special team to nab the accused, believed to be from Bihar. Angry locals staged a protest demanding justice after the child’s body was discovered.
