Speaking about the arrest of Bandhu Maan Singh Shekhon, DCP Crime Branch Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said that Shekhon was arrested from Ludhiana on the 25th. His name appeared in an old arms supply case.
He is a Canada-based gangster who recently returned to India in August. He has been involved in multiple firing and extortion cases in Canada and has been arrested there before. The police believe he fled India because the Canadian authorities were looking for him.
