Journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, missing since 1st January, was found dead in Chhattisgarh. He had recently reported on a ₹120 crore corruption case. Six people, including contractor Suresh Chandrakar and his brother, have been arrested. Chandrakar was a district reporter for a national television channel and had a YouTube channel with 1.59 lakh subscribers. He was known for his connections with Naxals and mediation efforts between them and the police.
