Three people were missing after a landslide occurred in Matsuyama, the capital of Japan’s Ehime Prefecture, according to broadcaster NHK.
Footage filmed by a local resident showed a mass of mud and trees partly damaging a multi-storey parking facility located near a mountain.
Firefighters were attending the scene where some houses were damaged and the streets were flooded with mud.
