In Gaya, Bihar, Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi criticized a Congress tweet calling Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi a “Jan-Nayak” (people’s hero). Manjhi said the title of “Jan-Nayak” is given by the people, not self-claimed. He also heard people call Tejashwi Yadav a “Jan-Nayak,” which he called an insult to the term, comparing it to the respected leader Karpoori Thakur. He questioned what Tejashwi has done for Bihar to earn such a title.
