Jammu Kashmir News | Over 50 Houses Damaged In Jammu’s Barmeeni Village After Heavy Rains
Nearly 50 houses were damaged due to heavy rains in Lower Barmeeni village, with 16 homes completely destroyed and several others developing deep cracks. Local residents say the area has become unsafe to live in as the soil has turned landslide-prone. The administration has shifted affected families to safer locations. Villagers, however, are now demanding permanent relocation to a different area, citing huge losses and the risk of further damage.
