A tea seller’s false fire alarm on the Pushpak Express led to panic and a tragic accident. Passengers jumped from the moving train after the chain was pulled. The Karnataka Express, approaching from the opposite direction, struck those who had leapt onto the tracks. Thirteen fatalities have been confirmed, with 34 people injured in total. Authorities are working to identify victims and inform relatives.
