The Ratna Bhandar at Puri’s Jagannath Temple will soon be opened as a high-level committee under the chairmanship of Justice Biswanath Rath meets on Tuesday. The committee has fast-tracked the process of opening the temple treasury after 46 years. As per records, the Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandar has a total 454 gold articles with a net weight of 128.38 kg of gold and 221.53 kg of silver. The last inventory of Ratna Bhandar was made 46 years ago in 1978.
