India Today’s ground report from Nabatiyeh in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley reveals the aftermath of devastating Israeli airstrikes conducted on Friday night and early Saturday morning. The strikes targeted a residential area, resulting in the confirmed death of three Lebanese Army soldiers and injuries to 17 people, most of them women and children. According to the report, four Israeli helicopters entered the area as part of a ground invasion attempt, which was resisted by Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army. The strikes were reportedly aimed at foiling an Israeli special commando operation intended to capture a suspected Hezbollah member. The operation was unsuccessful in capturing the target. The report highlights the extensive destruction caused by the bombing, with residential structures in the area completely destroyed. The injured, some in serious condition, have been shifted to hospitals.
