In an exclusive interview, Reuven Azar, Israel’s ambassador to India, discussed the ongoing military operations against Iran, stating that Israel and the United States have hit about 15,000 military targets so far. Azar, a paratrooper who served in Gaza, the Golan Heights, and Judea and Samaria, explained that the operation aims to remove two existential threats: Iran’s massive ballistic missile program and its nuclear program. He stated that Iran "no longer has a naval force" and "no longer has an air force," and that "their production sites have been destroyed." Azar said the damage Iran is causing to Israel has diminished substantially compared to earlier attacks. He emphasized that Israel is coordinating closely with the United States and will continue operations for weeks, not days, until they neutralize Iran’s capability to strike Israel. Azar also discussed the weakening of Iranian proxies Hamas and Hezbollah, and called for the Iranian people to embrace change.
