The conflict in the Middle East has entered a critical phase as Israeli Defence Forces intensify their airstrikes deep inside Iran. Over the last 35 days, Israel has heavily targeted Iranian mobile launchers, ammunition depots, and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command structures. Recent bombings have struck the capital city of Tehran, the Bushehr nuclear power plant, and the port city of Bandar Mashar. Amid these escalating attacks, the United States military is actively searching for a missing pilot after an F-15E aircraft took a hit, highlighting the risks of maintaining air domination over Iranian skies. The conflict has also expanded into a multi-front war. In northern Israel, Hezbollah and Iranian forces are coordinating missile attacks, while Houthi rebels and Iranians are targeting the southern regions. Central Israel has similarly faced heavy bombardment. Despite the combined military efforts of the United States and Israel, questions are being raised about miscalculations regarding Iran’s retaliatory capacity and its extensive missile silos.
