The Israeli cabinet’s decision to approve Operation Roaring Lion came approximately 48 hours after Modi departed Jerusalem. The clarification addresses speculation in India about what transpired during the meetings, given that Israeli strikes commenced just two days following the Prime Minister’s visit. The envoy emphasised that the exact timing of military operations could only be authorised by the Israeli cabinet, and this authorisation occurred after Modi had already left the country.
