The Houthi rebel organization in Yemen claims to have fired a missile into Israel, but it was intercepted.
The group’s military spokesperson stated in a televised statement that the ballistic missile was fired targeting Ben Gurion Airport, which is close to Tel Aviv. The Israeli Defense Forces said that sirens were heard in many parts of Israel. According to the IDF, the missile was stopped before it entered Israel, and there have been no reports of injuries.
