Three Lebanese journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a clearly marked press vehicle in southern Lebanon, in an incident that has drawn strong condemnation from Lebanese leaders. The strike, which reportedly involved precision missiles, also left other journalists wounded and killed a paramedic who arrived at the scene. While Israel claims one of the journalists had links to Hezbollah, the media organisations involved have rejected the allegation, raising fresh concerns over the safety of journalists in conflict zones.
