Israel has launched a ground offensive in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was neutralised by the IDF. The operation aims to destroy Hezbollah’s bases and targets, which pose a serious threat to northern Israeli communities. In the conflict, 136 people have reportedly lost their lives in Israeli attacks in Lebanon. Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassim has appointed a new leader following Nasrallah’s death.
