Hamas liberated Israeli soldier Agam Berger on Thursday and handed her over to the Red Cross, marking the third such release under the Gaza ceasefire.
On Thursday, the Palestinian armed group began releasing three additional Israeli hostages and five Thai inmates. Israel is reportedly scheduled to free 110 Palestinian inmates today. Berger was turned over to the Red Cross during a ceremony in the devastated urban refugee camp of Jabaliya in northern Gaza. The Israeli government eventually verified Berger’s presence among its soldiers.
