Islamabad Car Blast: “State Of War” Declared In Pakistan As 12 Die In Suicide Bombing
Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has declared that the country is “in a state of war” after a deadly suicide bombing near the District Judicial Complex in Islamabad’s G-11 sector. The attack took place at 12:30 PM on 11th November 2025, killing at least 12 people and injuring 27, according to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
According to reports, the attacker waited for 15 minutes, failed to enter the court premises, and then detonated near a police vehicle. Eyewitnesses described the blast as massive, with body parts thrown inside the court grounds.
Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility, saying the attack targeted judges and lawyers under what it calls “un-Islamic laws.” Qatar has issued a statement condemning the bombing. This incident comes within 24 hours of the Red Fort car blast in Delhi, which killed 13 and injured more than 20. Investigations continue and four suspects have been detained.
