Iran insists it’s right to enrich uranium on its own soil is non-negotiable, framing it as a matter of sovereignty and peaceful nuclear rights — even as the U.S. warns unrestricted enrichment shortens the path to a bomb.
At the same time, Tehran says ballistic missiles and regional influence are off the negotiation table, classifying them as sovereign defence issues that should not be tied to the nuclear agenda.
