Iran launched missile strikes on Israel using cluster warheads, internationally prohibited munitions banned by about 120 countries, targeting Tel Aviv. Israeli authorities confirmed two deaths in the attacks, which damaged buildings, cars, and a train station. Footage shows shattered windows, damaged ceilings, ravaged streets, and cars on fire. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that Iran does not believe in a ceasefire but in ending the war on all fronts. He added that the killing of Ali Larijani will not destabilise the Iranian state, asserting the system remains unshaken. Iran confirmed Supreme National Security Council Chief Ali Larijani was killed in an airstrike at his daughter’s home near Tehran, along with his son, deputy, and bodyguards. Funeral visuals from Tehran show the aftermath of his death. Reports indicate Israel also targeted Iran’s intelligence minister, claiming his death, suggesting an attempt to decapitate Iranian military and political leadership.
