Iranian TV released footage on Saturday showing destruction in Tehran following US-Israel attacks on Tehran.
The footage filmed in the Iranian capital showed a crater, plumes of smoke and the debris of buildings caused by the attacks.
Iranian TV also reported that in addition to Tehran, the sound of explosions was heard in other cities "including Isfahan, Qom, and parts of Lorestan province, as well as in Kermanshah, Karaj, and Tabriz."
The United States and Israel on Saturday launched an attack on Iran, with the first apparent strike happening near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iranian media reported strikes nationwide, and smoke could be seen rising from the capital.
President Donald Trump said in a video posted on social media that the U.S. had begun “major combat operations in Iran.” He claimed Iran has continued to develop its nuclear program and plans to develop missiles to reach U.S.
